CONTENT IS KEY… PARTICULARLY IN THE CURRENT CLIMATE

The coronavirus pandemic currently sending shockwaves around the world is forcing all of us to change the way we work and live. But when times are tough, it’s all too easy to stick with the status quo – to focus on the present rather than look to the future.
Ask yourself this… As you’ve entered survival mode and done all you can to keep your business operating, have you been communicating enough with your customers?
Do they know your business is not one of the casualties of COVID-19, that you’re still getting the product out the door and providing the same high levels of service they’ve come to expect?
Even with all the distractions, it is absolutely vital that we keep communicating with our clients.
Create content that tells them you’re still open. Write an article about your achievements and successes in these unprecedented times. Publish a blog post that shows you’ve adapted to social distancing and remote working, and are focused on being a responsible employer. Talk about your drive and ambition to come out the other side even stronger.
Strategies may have stalled, with plans put on the backburner because of the crisis, but it’s still “business as usual” – so you’ve got to tell people.
There’s no denying this is a trying period and it’s difficult enough knowing what will happen tomorrow – let alone looking to the long term. But with the pandemic lingering, you have to plough on regardless and keep planning for a better future.
